All funds raised by this event will go towards The Love of T Foundation and their peer support suicide prevention program. Love of T has been able to reach hundreds via their peer support programs in Pittsfield since 2023 and aims to bring the peer support drop in concept to North Adams as soon as next year. Love of T was founded by Luke Fitzgerald after his mother's death by suicide in 2021. Peer support reduces feelings of loneliness and isolation while giving those struggling with suicidal thoughts a safe space to be with peer who have had the same experience in a non-judgmental environment. Peer support is a great compliment to already established mental health treatment and gives participants a feeling of belonging and comradery with other who have struggled on the same journey, but are coping in a positive way.
